Our Exercise Physiologists are skilled in developing exercise programs to address neuromuscular and musculoskeletal changes caused through injury.
We have found that the best way to get great outcomes when dealing with injuries is to start the program with a thorough assessment. During the assessment our Exercise Physiologists focus on understanding the client’s injury, screen for postural and movement pattern changes and identify any strength changes that could be preventing the client from improving.
Following the assessment our Exercise Physiologists develop a specialised exercise program to assist the client move and use their body in a comfortable way. We start all of our exercise programs slowly and like to see our client twice a week in the first three weeks. This gives the client time to adapt to the exercises and to feel confident that they can tolerate exercise.
Our Exercise Physiologists continually reassess the exercise program to allow the client’s body to adjust and build ongoing exercise tolerance and strength.
