I love my career in exercise physiology because I can provide exercise as a form of treatment, helping people improve their ability to achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle.
I completed my undergraduate bachelor’s degree at Curtin University and wanted to further pursue a rehabilitation route. During my first placement at Cockburn Arc, I guided a client through a rehabilitative program for her shoulder. Following the program she stated that she was able to perform pre-injury tasks and was overjoyed with the results. This moment sparked my passion for rehabilitative exercise as treatment for people. I then completed my master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology at Curtin University to further my knowledge and experience, enabling me to provide the most relevant, specific and tailored service and education to clients based on their personal and fitness goals. Outside of the clinic you will find me in the gym, playing basketball or doing Muay Thai. Otherwise, I’ll cherish the time with my friends and family.
